Reporting from New York Fashion Week 2017

Melange Mode friend artist & designer Sarah Holland, shares her NYFW Spring 2017 experience with us!

Wearing a Reverie rain jacket and eclipse top

My first stop was to Milk Studios to check out Haley Elsaesser's debut New York collection, in conjunction with Hasbro's My Little Pony. Called Déjà Moon, it definitely lived up to it’s fairy tale concept! The collection was filled with bright hues and sparkling embellishments.

Outside, I had to ask about these gorgeous hand painted pieces by fashion designer Sofistafunk

Amazing street style is the sign of a great show! Two fabulous ladies walking in, Sam & Cailli Beckerman of @beckermanblog

Following the show, I attended the Women Veterans Rock event at Distill No. 7  featuring for Love Art Fashion, Marolli, Hiche and M No.7.  It was a wonderful evening of fashion for a great cause, supporting Women Veterans.

Loved meeting the founder and creator of LFA Bernard Aidan, hearing about the creative process behind this unique collection was so inspiring!

A key signature style from the LFA collection is embellished leather and denim moto jackets. A must for year round style!

I had to try on this beautiful embroidered capelet by Hiche, it's a perfect match for a metallic copper Reverie Dress!

Ending the evening on a high note, I stopped by the Aruna Seth NYFW event with Code WWD

This Layered textured piece by Katharine Kidd is to die for! The transparent material is so edgy and sweet with embroidery.

Who says bowties are just a men's accessoryLove these pieces by Christopher Chaun.
